DOSAGE:

Use only as directed. One capsule once or twice daily with a full glass of water. For optimal use, disassemble capsule and dissolve herbs in liquid.

PROPERTIES OF LESSER KNOWN HERBS:


Epimedium: Tonifies the kidneys and fortifies the yang. For deficient kidney yang patterns with symptoms such as impotence, frequent urination, forgetfulness. Expels wind-damp-cold with symptoms such as cramps in the hands and feet, joint pain, and numbness in the extremities. Tonifies the yin and yang. Helps lower back pain, dizziness and menstrual irregularity.


Yohimbe: Yohimbe bark (from the jungles of western Africa, Cameroon, Congo and Gabon), is used for sexual disorders, as an aphrodisiac and for feebleness and exhaustion. Contraindicated in liver and kidney diseases. No health hazards known with proper administration of therapeutic dosages.


Damiana: Yang tonic, aphrodisiac, diuretic, nervine, aperient. Used for lowered libido, depression, mucous congestion. Damiana is primarily used as a mild aphrodisiac either for men or women. It is also useful as an antidepressant and digestive aid, and as a treatment for mucous congestion and consequent coughs.


Muira Puama: Often recommended as a remedy for impotence. Nicknamed “potency wood” by Amazon natives, it’s believed to have an aphrodisiac effect. Traditionally used in Brazil for enhancement of virility, for impotence, for stress management, for nervous system stimulation and as a general health tonic.


Catuaba: Native to Brazil and the Amazon, Catuaba has a long history in herbal medicine as an aphrodisiac. It is the most famous of all the Brazilian aphrodisiac plants. Catuaba is considered a central nervous system stimulant with aphrodisiac properties and is used for sexual impotency, agitation, nervousness, neurasthenia, poor memory or forgetfulness, and sexual weakness. Also used for treating many types of nervous conditions including insomnia, hypochondria, and pain related to the nervous system. Clinical studies on Catuaba have found very interesting results involving its antibacterial and antiviral properties and may have potential against opportunistic infection in HIV patients. Shown effective against E-Coli and Staphylococcus bacteria. No evidence of side effects, even after long term use.
